It appears two new friends will be making their way onto, the New York Fashion Week together, Whoopi Goldberg and Tiffany Trump.
The host of “The View”, invited Trump to sit with her after reports started to circulate that Trump was shunned by a few people within the fashion community at one of the New York Fashion Week events.
“You know what, Tiffany, I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m coming to sit with you. Because nobody’s talking politics. You’re looking at fashion. She doesn’t want to talk about her dad. She’s looking at the fashion,” Whoopi Goldberg said on the View.
Trump responded on Twitter that she accepts the offer.
The reports of Trump being shunned started to surface when fashion writers and editors at the NYFW tweeted.
Former Wall Street Journal columnist Christina Binkley shared a photo of Trump and wrote, “Nobody wants to sit next to Tiffany Trump at Philipp Plein, so they moved and the seats by her are empty.”
Binkley then explained that Trump apparently was with “several friends” and the empty two seats next to her were later filled. It appears that those two seats belonged to Plein’s sister and girlfriend.
Apparently, Binkley sent CNN an email that stated, “Two young women seated on her left said they didn’t want to be seated beside her, and they left to find seats elsewhere. I saw it as a newsworthy example of tensions arising over the Trump family, tweeted a photo, and thought I might write about it later. But within a minute or two, a well-known creative director and a friend sat in the seats.”
Alyssa Vingan Klein, an editor for Fashionista.com tweeted, “Seating sh–show at Philipp Plein because no editors want to sit near Tiffany Trump. SHOCKER.”
